About Hannah School

Educating dyslexic students with a multi-sensory approach

Children in Arkansas with Dyslexia can receive intervention using the DuBard Method. The Hannah School does educational evaluations. We offer therapy. Both occupational and speech therapy are offered during school.

Who We Are

Hannah School is an accredited private school that provides educational support for children with dyslexia, and their families, throughout Arkansas. We offer kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as tutoring, and home school/distance learning.

What We Do

We provide intensive intervention in the areas of reading and math to promote academic success in all children. We believe in the bright future awaiting each student when immersed in the right environment.

Tutoring, evaluations, therapy, and school are all part of the Hannah School. We serve dyslexic children. We are located in Arkansas.

What We Believe

We firmly believe any child can excel academically when learning differences are properly diagnosed, when instruction and intervention are provided by properly trained educators, and when the learning environment uncovers and cultivates a child’s innate gifts and talents.

1 in 5 people has dyslexia. Dyslexia is a neurologically based learning disability that makes it difficult to read. Dyslexics have average to above average IQs and are often very intelligent and creative. Some of the greatest minds in our history were dyslexics and, given the proper intervention and instruction, have unlimited potential. Sadly, there are many students waiting to learn to read in their current school environment. Dyslexics need a special way to learn, and many schools are not providing it. They are at high risk for dropping out of school, and being trapped in a cycle of illiteracy that will leave them unable to secure a job or remain underemployed. The Hannah School can break this cycle and ensure dyslexic students achieve their full potential.
