Hannah Home School
Dyslexia remediation, distance learning, tutoring and more
Hannah Home School
We have created this program for parents who wish to homeschool their children or parents who need a dyslexia intervention course for their child. The program will begin Monday, August 17, 2020.
Hannah School uses the Dubard Method which is a multisensory dyslexia intervention program for children who have dyslexia or markers of dyslexia. Upon registration you will have an assessment fee of $350.00 for placement testing. This placement testing will provide a baseline assessment of critical academic areas, oral language skills, as well as visual perception, fine motor, and writing proficiency. Placement testing can be in person or online.
This is an intensive intervention program that will be divided into semesters. The cost per semester is $3200.00. Semesters are August to December and January to May. Semester payments can be divided into payments of $640.00 per month or $160.00 a week. All payments will require an auto-draft through our Praxi System and will be paid before services are rendered. Credit card payments will have a 6% processing fee.
If during your placement testing we discover math deficits, Hannah School will offer Math U See instruction as an add on course. The cost of adding on Math U See is $200.00 per semester.
Instruction using the Dubard Method will be Monday through Thursday with two days of live intervention online and two days of online instructional videos and classwork. The platform will be Google Classroom. You will have access to your teacher through email and Google Meets.
*If you are choosing to use this course as a homeschool program, you will need to sign a letter of intent to the Arkansas Department of Education that you are homeschooling.
*Please note if you schedule a Google Meet with your teacher and do not show within ten minutes of the appointment time you will be charged a $25.00 missed appointment fee.
If you have any questions please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child. A successful reader is a successful learner. The Hannah School student chose the kangaroo as their mascot, because like a kangaroo, they never go backward. We hope to welcome you to our Roo family,
